Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Charlotte debuts a refreshed and youthful look after interior and exterior renovations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 24, 2014) – Sullivan’s Steakhouse, a longtime Charlotte favorite known for its hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood and delectable side dishes, is debuting a significant facelift. Major renovations are complete on the bar and lounge, main dining area, private dining rooms, patio and more.

Sullivan’s refreshed, contemporary design features a more vibrant color scheme. Design elements such as dramatic artwork and lighting bring a more energetic feel to the 9,045-square-foot restaurant. High-top stools surrounding a rustic communal dining table encourage mingling and conversation in the bar and lounge, which now seats 46 guests.  And just in time for spring, Sullivan’s expanded its al fresco dining with an enlarged patio and new outdoor seating. A sleek new awning creates a prominent outdoor presence in bustling South End.

Guests will immediately notice a difference when they enter the restaurant with its new, bright foyer.  Hand-crafted artwork includes pops of deep red and gold around the bar. Handsome dark woods and residential-inspired detailing juxtaposed with champagne accents and contemporary, clean lines create a visually lavish ambiance in the lounge.

Along with its vibrant new look, Sullivan’s refreshed its menu. Highlighted by Sullivan’s favorites and seasonal picks, lunch entrees start at $14, entrée salads begin at $12.50 and sandwiches begin at $10. For dinner, Sullivan’s offers an a la carte selection of savory starters, fresh soups and greens, and delicious entrees for dinner, as well as the new Sure Thing, a $39 three-course prix fixe menu.  Featured items include: Cheesesteak Eggrolls; the sweet, spicy and unforgettable Crispy Shanghai Calamari; Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail; and the new Braised Beef Ravioli.

New seasonal picks source the freshest ingredients and presently includes an array of stone crab claws and a Kale salad. Sullivan’s offers an impressive selection of wine, local craft beers on tap and a full bar. Its signature Knockout cocktail never fails to impress.

Sullivan’s is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dinner is served from  p.m. to  11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday.  The bar opens at 11:30 a.m. weekdays and 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and is open until late into the evening nightly.
