Some offbeat options for Valentine’s Day fun

Some people just aren’t into the hearts and flowers, lovey dovey thing.

 

Those people can still have fun this Valentine’s Day weekend. Here are some local events happening that are off the beaten track.

 

If you are into “Fifty Shades of Grey,” a couple of area restaurants are capitalizing on the literary phenomenon in their Valentine’s Day offerings.

 

Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Naperville has a Valentine’s dinner for $59 each Feb. 13-15, and an aphrodisiac meal, now through Feb. 20. The aphrodisiac menu, which is $69 per person, includes hand-shucked oysters and warm Nutella bread pudding for dessert. At 244 S. Main St.
