Once famous for its 1800s gold discovery, South End remains the crown jewel of Charlotte today, now known for its bustling nightlife and art scene. A hop, skip, and jump from Uptown via the LYNX Blue Line, it’s home to the iconic Confetti Hearts Wall as well as the Rail Trail (our 3.5-mile trackside walking path). Visit the Steel Yard’s neighboring Atherton Mill Mall for some pre-dinner shopping, a workout class, or the Saturday morning South End Farmers Market.
